  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Lower Acuity Cardiac focused duties.
  • Primary responsibilities include providing high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit, monitoring and assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required.
    • BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
    • Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
    • EPIC experience required.
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12-hour D/N Rotating shift - (36 hours per week).
      • Weekdays and some weekends.
      • Rotating holidays required.
      • Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Will be part of the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
        • Lower Acuity Cardiac care with a patient ratio of 1:3-4.
