Job Details:

• This position is eligible for travel nurses who reside over 100 miles from the facility.
• The Medical Surgical Oncology RN will work in an acute medical surgical unit with some tele monitored patients, featuring 25+ private beds and a moderate to high acuity range.
• Tele interpretation is required for this role.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 1.5 years of experience in MS/Tele and large hospital experience, including Level I or II trauma.
• Strong neuro assessment skills and the ability to read and interpret telemetry independently are essential.
• ONS certification is beneficial, and training is available for administering chemotherapy.

Schedule Information:

• This is a night shift position, working 3x12 shifts, with every other weekend and holiday off.
• No call is required, and the candidate will be first to float.

Unit Specific Information:

• The acute medical surgical unit features 25+ private beds, with some tele monitored patients and a moderate to high acuity range. Epic EMR system is used, and navy scrubs are required.
