Job Description:
Job Overview:Under the direction of Production Supervisor, the
Laser/Press Brake Operator will work directly with the
production/engineering team to complete job packets based on
priority. Programming editing will be needed to adjust programs to
material on hand. Ensure quality of all parts meets manufacturing
expectations.Primary Responsibilities:This list of duties and
responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to
include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem
necessary from time to time.
- Be able to read prints and organize work.
- Able to adjust programs to fit material on hand.
- Minor daily maintenance on laser/press brake equipment.
- Assist with moving large materials within the warehouse via a
variety of mechanical equipment (i.e. forklifts, cranes) and
perform miscellaneous packaging duties to prepare finished product
for shipping.
- Operate sit-down & stand-up forklift safely and
responsibly.
- Able to use overhead cranes to load/unload plate.
- Ability to read blueprints, routings, manufacturing instruction
sheets, visual aids or other instructions furnished in written,
oral, or diagram form.
- Responsible for material identification, order numbers, and
understanding material routing system.
- Works closely with production personnel to expedite rush
orders.
- Maintains neat and orderly incoming and outgoing station.
- Helps drive and support company culture and core

- High School Diploma required
- Laser/press brake/waterjet experience required
- Read engineering drawings understand tolerancing
- 2 + years of experience as a forklift operator or material
handler. Must pass a forklift certification test. Both written and
behind the wheel.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
- A valid driver's license.Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or
governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and
procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees of the
organization.Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Can use measurement tools including scales, calipers, and tape
measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical Demands:

frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
- Employees will frequently use material handling equipment, such
as forklifts and cranes.Work Environment:This job operates in a
factory environment. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles,
moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally
exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work
environment is often loud enough to require hearing
