Staffmark is hiring an experienced Welder in West Liberty, OH for a small, family-owned company that's been thriving for over 40 years. Schedule & Pay
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $17-$18/hour, based on experience (DOE)
Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview
As a Welder, you'll use your skills to read blueprints, calculate measurements, inspect materials, and perform precise welds using various tools and torches. You'll be responsible for maintaining your equipment and ensuring high-quality, structurally sound results. This is a non-entry level position, requiring at least one year of welding experience and the ability to pass a welding test.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding specifications
Measure and calculate the dimensions of the parts to be welded
Inspect structures and materials for accuracy before welding
Use torches and power supplies to perform welding tasks
Monitor and adjust the welding process as needed
Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety guidelines

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 1 year of hands-on welding experience
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work independently
Ability to read labels, safety instructions, and blueprints
Patience, attention to detail, and self-direction required
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are helpful
