An international industrial machinery manufacturer is currently searching for a motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join their office in the Norther Delaware, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and logistics operations, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time and direct hire position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities Include:

Communicate with customers regarding order status, logistics tracking, questions and issues, etc. via phone and email
Plan and prepare shipments and delivery schedules
Update logistics information, purchase orders, and sales orders in the company system(s)
Prepare accurate orders and packing slips for shipments
Create shipping lists, invoices, and maintain other department documentation as needed
Other duties assigned



Shipping & Receiving Clerk Requirements Include:

Minimum high school diploma or GED required
Previous work history in shipping / receiving, inventory control, warehousing, etc. preferred, as well as customer service ability
Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills; ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
